Scenario

A retired CIA agent is hunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares, when an unknown man suddenly visits him after nearly three decades.. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with and subsequently treated for non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

After he recovered, the series returned to production. Bridges described the return as coming back after a "long weekend" on podcast in July 2022.

Starac is a spy thriller that is absolutely worth watching!

Jeff Bridges is great as always and does an amazing job that makes you believe he’s still badass at 72! His dogs steal every scene they’re in and remind me of the dogs in John Wick.

I’m really looking forward to more and recommend this to anyone who loves spy thrillers

The rest of the cast are also on top of their game, especially John Lithgow (who rarely disappoints). I know there are a lot of really good spy series to choose from, but this has everything you want in a spy thriller and is a must watch.
