Scenario

A maniac named Art the Clown terrorizes two friends on Halloween and anyone who gets in his way. David Howard Thornton was the sixth person to audition for Art the Clown after Mike Giannelli left the role and acting career. During the hearing, he began to imitate, tasting the blood of his decapitated victim, but then added salt to improve the taste. In shots where Tara is taped shut, the tape apparently does not come into contact with the bottom of her mouth in some earlier shots, while it is tightened around both of her lips in other shots.

I’ll try Written and performed by Merci. I actually didn’t want to watch this because I haven’t seen any of the director’s previous films. (Because the killer in this movie is a spin-off). Saw it after reading a glowing review of Coventry.

No flashing lights, no shaky camera, and no quick editing

This movie is truly horrifying in terms of brutality and gore, but what I loved most was the atmosphere. Another good aspect is that nothing is shot in the dark and you can easily guess what is going on. There is a murder in this film that is far more brutal than Sean Bean’s in The Black Death. The only thing I wanted to know more about was the killer’s backstory, his motivations, and the clarity of the supernatural ending.

After loving this, I want to see the director’s previous films. Art the Clown, Pennywise and the Killer Clowns are just a few of the comical creatures that give us chills.
