Genevieve lives as a shy, neurotic book editor, avoiding colleagues and striving to become the next ghostwriter for her publisher’s most popular crime series. But no one, not even her therapist, knows that Genevieve is secretly battling dissociative identity disorder (DID). Although her life at home and in public is a constant struggle to avoid the stress that triggered her dissociation, the series and its haphazard depiction of DID begin to unsettle Genevieve as she is flooded with flashes of memories she had no part in creating.
