When visionary architect László Toth and his wife Erzzebeth fled post-war Europe in 1947 to restore their heritage and witness the birth of modern America, their lives were changed forever by a mysterious and wealthy client. Filming took place over a total of 34 days between March 16 and May 5, 2023. It was filmed in Budapest, Hungary and Carrara, Italy. Rating – 9.1: Overall a great epic that pays homage to the era and revolutionizes the way we can tell stories as it shows what can be done on such a low budget, all held together by excellent direction, deep writing and incredible acting by Adrien Brody.
