Refund and Returns Policy
We understand that’s its not always easy purchasing the right size online, or maybe the outfit just didn’t look the way your imagined.
At Ethel Grace our customer experience is our number one priority and this is why we have tried to make it as easy as possible with our FREE RETURNS Portal.
We want you to love your Ethel Grace goodies as much as we do, so if you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for store credit within 30 days.
To be eligible for a return please ensure:
- Returns must be received within 30 days of date when the order was placed for a store credit.
- Store credits are valid for 12 months and are available to be used on our entire product range in store and online.
- You must provide satisfactory proof of purchase with all garments in original, unwashed condition, with all tags/buttons still attached.
- Clothing must be free from make-up, perfume odours or deodorant, and any other stains.
- We do not accept returns for items which pose a hygiene risk such as earrings, hats, scrunchies, hair clips, accessories etc.
- Some sale items are priced to clear so please choose carefully. Items marked as ‘Last Chance Buy’ or ‘Sale Items’ are not eligible for exchange or return (excepted where the items are faulty under consumer law guidelines).
- Orders placed using a store credit cannot be refunded and will be issued back onto a store credit.
- Store credits cannot be refunded.
- We do not refund non-faulty items/change of mind.
- Any items received by Ethel Grace that are not in line with the above will be returned back to you at the customers expense.
Ethel Grace reserves the right to decline a customer credit if we believe items are not returned in the original condition as when they were shipped.
Faulty Items:
As a small family business I personally handpick our garments for their high quality fabrics and designs. We do our absolute best to quality check all our garments sent to all our beautiful customers. All Ethel Grace garments must follow all the care instructions as listed on our website and tags on the item, as our items can be quite delicate and may get damaged if instructions are not followed.
Due to the nature of some fabrics composed for their specific item’s qualities and fit, this can sometimes include shrinkage, color fading and other outcomes. We advise gentle hand washing all Ethel Grace items using cool water and a delicate detergent only. These items are not to be placed in the dryer.
In the rare occurrence that you may receive a faulty item we are more than happy to replace this item with the identical item where possible. If you choose not to receive a replacement for a minor fault, this will be considered a “change of mind” and a store credit will be issued.
As per the guidelines of Australian Consumer law, a refund may be offered if we cannot repair or replace the faulty garment with the identical item or if the fault is a major problem.
